Where's the one market you should never take your dog to?
The flea market!
Pun-derful
Did You Know?
Flea markets sell secondhand goods, while fleas are parasites that plague dogs! The term "flea market" originated in Paris in the 1860s at the Marché aux Puces (literally "market of fleas"), where used goods supposedly carried fleas. Real fleas can jump up to 150 times their body length. A single flea can bite up to 400 times daily. Modern flea preventatives have made dog flea infestations much less common than in previous generations!
