Quick Wit
Did You Know?
Coins have "heads" (the side with a portrait) and "tails" (the reverse side)! The oldest coins date back to around 600 BCE in ancient Lydia (modern-day Turkey). The U.S. Mint produces about 28 million coins daily, and the average coin circulates for about 25 years before wearing out. Coin flipping is considered fair because each side has an equal 50% probability!
