Rachael Ray Helps Older Adults Find their Perfect Senior Pet

This Valentine's Day, Rachael Ray is spreading the love by helping older adults find their perfect (or in some cases, purrfect) match. During the coronavirus pandemic, many adults have been all alone for long periods of time. That's why Racheal Ray Nutrish has partnered up with a senior dog rescue in San Francisco called Muttville. Together, these two incredible organizations will help older animal lovers find their furry valentine just in time for the season of love.

For the entire month of February, it's free to find the best puppy for you and your over-50 family. Citizens over this age marking can adopt a senior pet from Muttville at no additional cost. All of their adoption fees will be covered by Rachael Ray Nutrish. The dog food company will also donate a year's worth of free dog food and complimentary vet wellness checks to the new animal owners. This accommodation will last them for a full year! Certainly not something to bark at...

Nutrish always gives a portion of their proceeds to dog shelters and those in need, but this is a step farther. Ray announced the initiative on The Drew Barrymore Show and even spoke a bit about her new pup Bella Boo Blue, an 80-pound pooch and the largest pet Ray has ever owned. In June 2020, Ray and her husband John M. Cusimano adopted the animal following the passing of Ray's previous dog, Issaboo.

Go on down to Muttville and grab a new old pooch today!
