NJ House Keeper Accidentally Breaks Into Wrong Home

A New Jersey man took up a side job cleaning houses to supplement his income. He took on a job for a friend but it went terribly wrong.

Louis Angelino III, 27, went to his friend's home in Cherry Hill and found the key under the doormat, just as expected. He quickly got to work and cleaned the entire townhouse. It took him nearly 2 and a half hours.

He was playing with the cats when his friend, Mark, called.

"I said, 'I'm literally in your living room right now playing with your cats and waiting for you to walk in, and he was like 'Louis, I don't have any cats," Angelino told NJ.com. That's when he knew he totally messed up the address by one digit.

Angelino never got to meet the people whose house he cleaned, but Mark left them a note explaining what happened and why their home is totally spotless. His neighbor, Beth Motzel, found it amusing, and that she and her husband, Tom, laughed "forever about it."

"He fixed it all up," Motzel said. "I mean, details, he cleaned up after the cats, played with the cats, fed the cats, and wiped everything spotless. He really is a cleaning fairy."

Angelino texted Motzel to apologize for the mistake, but Motzel said she will keep his number for future cleaning needs.
